In this 4-day class, kids 7+ will receive an introduction to wheel throwing techniques, ceramic hand-building and glazing. Preacher Pottery will work with each student to make 4-5 pieces on the wheel and 2-3 pieces by handbuilding. All ceramic pieces will be ready for pick-up 4 weeks after its concludes (we will notify the email address used at registration). This price includes all materials; there are no additional fees. Shoes and clothes will get messy.
Each day students will receive a snack break that will include a bottle of water and chocolate chip chewy granola bar or bag of cheez-its. Feel free to send with own snack and drink if preferred.
***If an unforeseen circumstance were to arise and you would need to withdraw from a class, you can receive a refund up to 14 days prior to the first lesson, but must incur a $75 cancellation fee. We cannot provide refunds for class withdrawals less than 14 days from the start date, however, classes are transferrable. Please notify us if you would like to transfer the set of classes to another person to attend in your place before lessons begin.
On occasion, pieces made during classes will not survive subsequent firings. Although Preacher Pottery does our best to ensure all pieces are returned, there is a chance a student may not receive back their made pieces.
