Friday Night Handbuilding: Paint Palette & Cup

Jan 17th. 7:00 - 9:00PM.

Come learn how to make your very own ceramic Paint Palette & Cup! This workshop will teach differing hand building techniques (no wheel this time). No prior experience necessary. This is a relaxed time to explore hand building and create functional items you can use.

 

Friday Night Handbuilding: To Go Coffee Tumbler

January 24th | 7-9PM

Come learn how to make your very own ceramic To-Go Coffee/ Tea Tumbler! This workshop will teach differing hand building techniques (no wheel this time). No prior experience necessary. This is a relaxed time to explore hand building and create functional items you can use.

 

Beginner I Wheel Throwing

Come and learn the basics of wheel throwing in a relaxed small group setting. These lessons will focus on wheel control, hand positioning, centering clay, glaze application and the use of basic tools. By the end of this 4- week course, students will have created 4 functional pieces to take home. All materials will be provided. Shoes and clothes will get messy.

 

Beginner II Wheel Throwing

For students who have completed the Beginner Wheel Throwing Course.

This course will allow the student to expound upon their basic throwing skills and will focus on centering larger amounts of clay, handling mugs, trimming, and glazing techniques. All materials will be provided. Shoes and clothes will get messy.

 

Intermediate II Wheel

This course will encourage the student to expound upon their growing skills by focusing on constructing 2 teapots and finishing larger forms by throwing in sections. All materials will be provided. This course is challenging and rewarding, most likely will require studio time outside class to complete.

 

Handbuilding I

Come and learn the oldest method of building with clay. These lessons will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, slab building, glaze application and using basic tools. By the end of this course, students will have created functional pieces to take home. All materials will be provided. Shoes and clothes will get messy.

January Date Nights: Wheel Throwing

Bring your special someone and have fun learning the basic techniques of wheel throwing. This is a relaxed time to explore pottery and enjoy a new experience together. As always, we guarantee good vibes and good tunes.
